ScaleUp is partnering with a leading Australian technology company that’s seeking a talented Technical Business Analyst (tech BA) to deliver world class seamless digital products across web and mobile. You will work for a supportive, exciting, and dynamic company with a culture of high performance & best practices.
The team consists of a diverse workforce of talented Software engineers, Designers, PMs, and Delivery Managers. Each brings something a little bit different to the team who will help you build and maintain these bleeding-edge applications that are disputing and impacting their industry on a national and global scale. These enterprise scale digital products across mobile and web that are used by over 100,000 Aussie’s daily.
Your Purpose
The purpose of Technical Business Analyst (or Digital Business Analyst) is to bridge the gap between Product requirements and technical solutions. You will ensure the Squad achieves desired outcomes to help the business thrive and deliver technical web and mobile solutions.
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Business Analyst with an understanding of API development and experience with web and mobile Apps.
Every day you will work closely with the Solution Architect and cross-functional teams and will be pivotal in driving innovation. You'll have an Agile mindset and live and breathe Agile working methodologies.
Your role ensures the seamless alignment of business requirements with technical solutions in the dynamic fields of data integration and API development for all of their key flagship technical products.
What's needed to be successful in this role:
It's a mid-level role, we are looking for someone with 4 -5 years worth of experience working as a technical BA with a track record of contributing to the success of API and Web/Mobile engineering initiatives.
You'll have in-depth knowledge of how large-scale business technology teams operate with a key focus on translating non-technical into technical requirements.
Agile. You'll live and breathe it. You love working with its methodologies and being a champion of its processes in your day-to-day.
Strong Communication skills are a must in this role. I don't need to write this, surely it's what you do on a day to day, but what I'm getting at is being able to communicate between stakeholders and speak their language, you'll need to speak dev talk to API engineers, data talk to data engineers, business talk to upper management, manage expectations, write up requirements, and work with the PM's and delivery leads to ensure delivery is running according to plan.
This role has loads to offer the right person regarding growth potential for your career and exposure to modern bleeding-edge technology and application development. Plus, you'll get to work with pretty awesome people at a company that thrives but doesn't take itself too seriously.
It's a hybrid role working a 9-day fortnight (4 days a week in the office) based in Sydney's CBD very close to public transport, providing a great mix of cultural integration and understanding. It's also a truly flexible working environment that has a mature understanding of what it's like and needed to be flexible. They are also a huge advocate for women in technology and foster an incredibly inclusive work force.
It's a permanent full-time opportunity paying a salary up to between $130,00 - $140,000 + Super + loads of cool benefits. Open to people with full working rights and appropriate visas to work in Australia.
