This Principal Engineer is capable of doing some pretty awesome things for scaling businesses.

They are what I would describe as a start up tragic who has lived and breathed them pretty much their entire career. Having ran and operated their own for 5 years in India, then working on their own digital agency prior to moving to Australia and joining a proptech startup as their 1st employee, and then being an early member of Airtasker’s team (15), and also one of the first employee’s at another startup that has had an exit in the ecommerce space.

Their entire career has been building software platforms with Ruby on Rails and related technology. Currently they are working for a venture studio where they act as EM/Principal Engineer for multiple client projects.

Previously they were at another agency/venture studio where they built out MVP’s for start-up and new products for scaleups. They have worn many hats over the past few years tech lead, Engineering manager, Senior Engineer, Staff & Principal Engineer.

They are a lover of technology and passionate about knowledge sharing in his role as a leader and life. They are an author of a book about 4 rails projects they have completed, been published in magazines and is a contributor to many open-source projects. It’s been a while, but they have also spoken at a few conferences and have been an active member in the RoR community throughout their career.

Open to a discussion about salary but currently on $220,000 + super and open to $200 +. They are burned out in current role and need a change.
